So, in a world of conformity, US Soccer definitely is trying its best not to stand out. I’m not sure if it is because of the recent MLS adoption of uniformed team logos that this US Soccer logo makes any sense. For me, it is drab and dreary. It takes away all of the fun. Take a look at the comparison below:
Please tell me you think the left side is magnificent and the left-side ruins all history of both the USMNT and USWNT. Let me know how you feel about this!
Nigeria did not make it easy. As much as the refs were trying to keep Nigeria in it via phantom offside calls and missed penalties, the USWNT found a way through via an excellent goal from none other than legend and future hall-of-famer, Abby Wambach. Check it below:
The USWNT will continue the tournament against the third place finisher from Group B/E/F, with the opponent to be determined after tomorrow’s final Group Stage matches. The Round of 16 contest will take place June 22 at 8 p.m. ET at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.
The USWNT roster for the World Cup this summer has been announced. Not too many surprises here. (or any for that matter) This group has a nice mix of youth and experience that could push for a World Cup win.

Nike officially unveiled the new US Soccer Away Kit today. Both the Men’s and Women’s team will have the privilege of competing in them. The Women’s team will debut the kit in the Algarve Cup in the beginning of March and the Men’s team will wear the kit against Denmark on March 25th.
Naturally, Nike got the likes of Dempsey and Alex Morgan to model the jersey for the release photos. Check out some of the photos and let us know what you think.
