Filmed over 14 months with unprecedented access into the inner circle of the man and the sport, this is the first official and fully authorised film of one of the most celebrated figures in football.
For the first time ever, the world gets vividly candid and un-paralleled, behind-closed-doors access to the footballer, father, family-man and friend in this moving & fascinating documentary. Through in-depth conversations, state of the art football footage and never before seen archival footage, the film gives an astonishing insight into the sporting and personal life of triple Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo at the peak of his career.
From the makers of ‘Senna’ and ‘Amy’, Ronaldo takes audiences on an intimate and revealing journey of what it’s like to live as an iconic athlete in the eye of the storm.
In the Messi v. Ronaldo debate I always go Crisitano Ronaldo. Some people may vehemently disagree with me but I refuse to bend. I completely agree that Lionel Messi is one of the best soccer players to have ever lived. There’s no debate to that. However, if I was building a team and the team needed to win in their first season I would take Cristiano Ronaldo in his prime over Lionel Messi in his prime. He is such an exciting player to watch and I refuse to get pulled into statistics and analytics because I know that no matter what anyone else claims, with whatever statistics they have to back them up, it will not dissuade me from claiming Cristiano Ronaldo is the world’s best soccer player.
Since he is arguably the world’s best soccer player it makes sense that he is having a high quality documentary made about him. Yet, it seems a little weird the documentary is being made before his career ends. Don’t get me wrong I am still going to watch and enjoy it but I wish they had waited. The best thing about documentaries is the story arc and yet his documentary takes place while he is still in the prime of his career. It would have been more interesting had it been made a decade after he retired so we could relive his greatness. Oh well I’m still seeing it on opening day.
A pretty blonde woman called Austin Milan has updated her Instagram account overnight with a brilliant story involving Cristiano Ronaldo.Austin Milan is currently in Las Vegas on holiday, as is the Real Madrid superstar.
According to the female holidaymaker, her trip had some “bad news” when she lost her mobile somewhere in Vegas. Against all the odds, Ronaldo somehow “found it”, and the Real Madrid legend made sure he reached out to the attractive lady to make sure she had her belongings returned.
Cristiano however went the extra mile in giving Austin Milan her phone back, as he did so whilst inviting her out for dinner.Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly single at the moment, following his high profile break up with Russian supermodel Irina Shayk at the beginning of the year.
This man has literally everything. If I found this same girls phone in Las Vegas she would probably call the cops thinking I stole it. Yet Cristiano Ronaldo finds it and she gets to party the night away in Las Vegas with him. She is a cute girl but I have to admit I’m more jealous of her than of Cristiano Ronaldo. I would sit through an entire cricket game without anyone around to explain the rules to me just so I could party with Ronaldo in Vegas for a night. You know that he is getting the best table at the club, the best service, and all of the attention. Just being in his entourage and getting a fraction of the deference and service he gets for being one of the world’s best soccer players would be a dream come true (behind playing alongside him on the pitch of course). Austin Milan is a lucky duck.
Cristiano Ronaldo has faced a lot of unfair criticism for enjoying his 30th birthday party after Real Madrid’s devastating loss to Atletico Madrid in the pas week. However, it is all overblown. This guy has proven time and time again that he is a consummate professional but he is also still human. I’ve lost some big games in my life and the worst thing you can do yourself is force yourself to be depressed about it. Sure after the game you should be sad but at the end of the day it is only one game. You need to be able to pick yourself up off the floor and look forward to the next one. Real Madrid will have plenty of chances to fix what went wrong at Atletico Madrid but Cristiano only has one thirtieth birthday and he should be allowed to enjoy it.
That being said look at those moves. It’s not fair that he gets blessed with amazing soccer talents and the moves of a young Michael Jackson. Irina Shayk was crazy to lose him. Now he can use his moves to get any girl he wants in the world. Some guys get all the luck. Ronaldo makes millions of dollars, wins every award, and gets down at the club while I stand by the wall and order $3 Bud Lights while doing the “robot.”
As if things couldn’t have gotten worse for Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid after their 4-0 thrashing by Atletico Madrid this video has emerged of the ball boy throwing the ball away from Ronaldo as he goes to retrieve it. All I can say, is this ball boy is ruthless. He stares the best soccer player in the world (allegedly) and tosses the ball in the other direction. It takes a lot of cajones to do that.
Is this a classless move? You bet it is. But damn do you have to respect it. There is no better video to sum up the humiliation Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid suffered then this clip right here. Cristiano Ronaldo should look on the bright side though. At least he didn’t kick him.
With the announcement of the FIFA Ballon d’Or shortlist today, the spotlight again falls on two of football’s current greats, four time winner, Lionel Messi and two time winner and current holder of the title, Cristiano Ronaldo. But how do the pair compare off the pitch?
This is a very interesting study and it is astounding how much each player’s social media pages are worth. Cristiano Ronaldo may not be better than Messi, depending on who you ask, but his social media prowess is second to none in the soccer world. He knows what he’s doing. It also helps that he has a more marketable personality. Some may seem him as arrogant and be annoyed by his pretty boy persona but there is no denying it has helped his international popularity. There is a saying that “all publicity is good publicity” and here this seems to apply. Many people may like Messi better because of his humility and quiet-nature; however, it is Cristiano’s personality that has contributed to his marketability. Head over to the link above to read more of Repucom’s insights. It is a very interesting read.
Does anyone know where this is from? I ran into it today and I had to post it. Judging by his hairstyle this looks like it was during his Manchester United days. This video proves how much of a natural athlete Cristiano Ronaldo is. His reaction time and agility are on another level. There is a lot more to goalkeeping then shot-stopping but if he had to deputize between the posts during an emergency situation it looks like he could hold his own. Also when mentioning Ronaldo’s goalkeeping skills of course we have to mention his nemesis Lionel Messi who proved his skill at the same position during a Barcelona practice.
